Aiming Outdoorsmen Toward Christ: The Foundation of Outdoor Truths.

Several years ago, I started OT out of my passion to see men like me – men who love the outdoors – contemplate their belief in God and their relationship with Jesus. My aim was simply to write a weekly column for local news publications and share how creation points to God and how outdoorsmen are the first to see it.  And trust me, that would have been enough for me, but God’s desire was bigger than mine.

What started out as a weekly article led to what is now a syndicated article found in newspapers, regional magazines, and online in many parts of the country. It’s safe to say, the Outdoor Truths article reaches over ¼ million people per week. Those articles are now in three books and they have allowed me to speak to men from Louisiana to Rhode Island, and places in between.

While the article is still the foundation of the ministry, it now also includes speaking at wild game dinners, men’s conferences, men’s outings, and consulting with churches and denominations on how to have effective events.

No matter what it is, or how we do it, Outdoor Truths will always be about building on the foundation of aiming outdoorsmen toward Christ.
