The Outdoor Truths Circle Event Hog Hunt was a huge success. This was our first time at the 633 Trophy Boar Ranch. We started out with a full house but during the day of travel two of our guys had sicknesses and emergencies that kept them from coming. But we did have three new guys – David, Jesse, and Alex. And while all saw pigs, Jesse was the only one that put two on the ground. David is from Florida. His wife had talked him into coming, and he has already signed up for another event. He is liking what we’re doing. Thanks David! Jesse and his son-in-law Alex are from Arkansas. I hated that Alex didn’t get his, but these guys are Circle Event kind of guys, and I know we’ll see them again. Mark and Jeremiah also came from Arkansas. This was not their first event. But it was their most successful. Each killed hogs and Jeremiah won our $500.00 Bass Pro gift card. And then there was John, Chase, and Jimmy. These are my guys. It had been a year since I had been with Jimmy. He is our host and sponsor of the upcoming Outdoor Truths Golf Circle Event. So, I was glad that he too, downed a very large boar. Chase seen hogs but couldn’t get a shot, and John spent most of his time being our cook, coordinator, and the all-around great host that he always is. He and Jimmy both LOVE hosting and cooking. I really enjoyed teaching and trying to encourage these guys in their faith. I think they encouraged me more by their own stories and by just being there.

And I don’t want to fail to mention Andy, who is the owner of the ranch, guide, field-dresser, and my friend. He provided some great facilities and opportunities. We plan on finding him again, next year.
