Faith Circle Event
June 19-22, 2025

Our Faith Event was in Chico Texas, at Lake Bridgeport.

Faith events are unique from our other Circle Events. Their primary purpose is to grow our faith in learning what it means to walk by faith. Unlike Circle Events, we only allow a maximum of 10 men to attend. We also don’t promote these like our other events. There are no sponsors and there is no cost for the ones who attend. It is Outdoor Truths way of walking by faith as well, with the help of friends of the ministry. I teach a total of 6 times beginning on Thursday night. The last lesson is on Sunday morning. While our focus is faith, we leave our afternoons and evenings open for some activities, and for processing the morning’s lessons. At this event, we scrambled to locate a place to hold the event because of some last-minute issues. However, we feel like we found the perfect place. So, we gathered up at Lake Bridgeport in Chico Tx. With the lake at our feet, we not only had great surroundings for lessons, but the afternoons were filled with fishing and boat rides. The nights were filled with food, fellowship, and serious cornhole competitions.

Men are distinctively created for risk. One study found that men took more risks than women in 14 out of 16 domains. And while the walk of faith is for every Christian, men are especially drawn to its message. We just need to know how it translates to our relationship with God. And that’s what we spent time doing in Chico. God used these guys to increase my faith, and I believe each of them grew in their faith as well.
