We’re going back to one of the best places in the country to dove hunt. We’ll be in Abilene Texas this September for our annual Dove Hunt Circle Event. This is the event to attend if you want to fire off a lot of shotgun shells. (I can’t promise you’ll hit anything, but the opportunity will be there). I love this event. And the food will be special. Jason Mears and Dan Rhoades will be hosting and cooking some special meals. They have mastered this event.
 
After our hunt each morning, we will be doing our lesson as well as our standard cornhole activities for those who want to participate. This has become a standard at most events.
 
The cost of this Circle Event is only $500.00 per person. This includes hunting, lodging, food, and a chance to win one of two $250.00 Bass Pro Gift Cards. And as always, only 12 guys can come. This is also an absolutely great opportunity to bring someone who needs to be around other guys and grow in their faith as well.

Schedule

  • Check-in: Thursday evening, Septemebr 10
  • Check-out: Sunday morning, September 13

I’ll be teaching Outdoor Truths lessons on Friday and Saturday, creating space for honest discussion, reflection, and growth between our fishing trips. And as always, we’ll wrap up the days with fellowship—and our traditional cornhole competition for bragging rights.
